Description

PINK FLOYD - ANIMALS Harvest Records SHVL 815 ( A-2U GL/B-2U GDA ) First Pressing, picture labels, non-barcode gatefold sleeve printed by 'Garrod & Lofthouse ', with card inner with rounded edges, large thumb notch at top and catalogue number on bottom right of inner, Matrix Numbers; SHVL 815 A-2u/B2-u, Dated 7701 ( January 1977) inside cover).
Described by the NME as Punk Floyd when they reviewed it in '77 this a great Floyd album with lyrics and music exploding with visceral anger at society and the politics of the 70's ( so similar as the politics of today ), raging at greed, corruption and lies at the heart of the Establishment.
I bought this copy of Animals the day it was released in 1977 and have had it in my collection ever since. It has been played but lovingly looked after, it has a great sound and the cover and labels are in great condition too.
