IS INDEED A VERY SPECIAL COPY OF,

PINK FLOYDS ANIMALS

THIS IS  AN ACTUAL DEMONSTRATION COPY RELEASED ONLY TO DJ,s FOR THE PURPOSE OF RADIO PLAY ONLY.

THE REASONS FOR THIS ARE HERE.

The pressing of this album that was put on general release to the public contained certain tracks containing lyrics referring to biblical verses, and a certain amount of swearing.

Because of these certain lyrics it was felt by the powers that be at the time, that in it’s actual general release format some lyrics may be found to be offensive to some people and so this is one of the copies that was made for radio play and was recorded and pressed,

omitting these lyrics, then this copy was distributed to some radio stations and DJs

and was never put on public release.

Let me start with the description of the outer sleeve.

This is a thick silk finish white sleeve with wording in brown.

The inner sleeve is a plain white polly lined sleeve in excellent condition.

The vinyl playing surface is mint condition, showing no signs of play, and no visible markings of any kind.

On the copy of this album released to the public the inner sleeve was printed with the lyrics to the song and other information.

This very rare copy comes with a cream coloured insert containing the full track listing and the playing times and states the following.

This insert is also in mint condition.

Although this album looks un-played

I felt I should play grade it fro the sake of any winning bidder and just because I was curious to here the album with the mentioned lyrics removed.

( well wouldn't you be just a bit intrigued)

This was done with great care on a very expensive record deck with the lightest of stylus pressure.

The album plays perfectly.

No pops, no background noise, nothing but Floyd at there best.

I must say I do prefer the record in it’s original form but this is a true collectors piece.
