This record is in excellent+ condition. It has some spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs, fading or any other damage. Overall the labels are in very nice condition with no serious issues to report but with some spindle marks to each side.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean overall, have a lovely lustre and have nothing remotely serious showing in normal light. There are a few very minor thin lines and the odd light sleeve scuff evident when angled however. These are faintly visible but are minor and overall the vinyl shows nothing serious or nasty at all. There is some more extremely minor light wispy lines visible in very bright light but not loads and again nothing remotely serious or sinister. The record has no serious scuffs, nasty marks or blemishes and in is very nice condition overall.
I play tested the record on a good quality system(SME 3009 Arm, Ortofon Stylus, Technics Deck) and it played really well with great clarity throughout. It lays flat, there is next to no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is really enjoyable. Its crisp and clear with only a trace of surface noise audible. There was a hint in the run in and but the audio itself has little audible. I noted a faint trace in the early part of track 2 on side 2 but this was very slight and only faintly audible due to very mellow nature of the early stages of this track. The end of this track and the quiet last track on side 2 have next to nothing audible and are clear and crisp. There is obviously no serious issues such as skips, sticks or annoying clicks and there is no distortion caused by excessive use. Overall it was an audio experience of good quality and excellent clarity, and although there are a few very minor faint lines showing it plays really well and was a absolute pleasure to play test.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has some wear and rubbing to the edges and corners(pics) but the writing along the spine is still all legible. It has a rock solid spine and there are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. Inside the gatefold is clean, bright and has no serious issues to report. There is no major creasing or ring marks evident but there is some very slight fading in places on both sides. There is also the odd indentation in places but nothing extreme and overall it is a nice example with just some mild age related wear in places as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on the sleeves condition.
It contains its original lyrics thick card inner(which has rounded corners) which is in very good+ condition. It has no tears or scuffs and no fully blown splits. There is however a 1" area on the bottom edge which is weakening. There is also light ring marks and some minor creasing in places.I will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure no damage occurs to the original during transit.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
