Description
For instant sale is an overall very good/excellent condition copy of the 1st UK pressing of the 'ANIMALS' album from 1977 by PINK FLOYD on the HARVEST RECORDS label (SHVL 815). A genuine first pressing this version has the matrix numbers A-2U and B-5U in the runout grooves, a 'wide-spine' sleeve and a 'round-cornered' black cardboard inner sleeve with the lyrics printed on it.
The sleeve is in overall very good condition but it does have a few small creases, a bit of corner wear and edgewear and a small spot of wear on the rear. The spine also has some wear although it is still just about readable. However, there are no writing or other marks on the sleeve. The inner sleeve is in excellent condition apart from a couple of small edge splits caused by the record rubbing - you can clearly see one of these in photo 9. Please study all the photos carefully to see the condition for yourself. The labels are in excellent condition with just some spindle trails. The record has a few light surface marks from being taken in and out of the card sleeve but plays superbly with only very occasional light surface noise. Definitely no deep scratches, sticks or jumps. I honestly think that you would be hard-pressed to find a better vinyl copy.
The record will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey.
