PINK FLOYD - ANIMALS
1977 UK HARVEST SHVL 815 (2U - 2U)
NM original uk 2U-2U earliest very 1st pressing. Immaculate, NM barely played vinyl, & EX+ gatefold cover, & original card Inner sleeve. Almost 45 years old now, & the vinyl still looks close to new. A really superb playing / sounding earliest original very first UK pressing.
VINYL = NM
The disc has a superb original clean glossy sheen. There are no bad surface marks, scuffs, or scratches, there are actually no visible surface marks at all. There are only a few extremely fine sleeve withdrawal traces, & only when viewed In much stronger light. No nasty marks, & so nothing at all to spoil the albums audio, which Is fantastic throughout all tracks, no loud clicks or pops at all, & actually barely even a trace of background static, not even during the much quieter passages. This album hasn't seen much play at all, & has only ever been played on a decent turntable with a decent stylus, & so there Is no lessening In the audio at all. This Is just a really superb, looking, sounding, playing original uk earliest first pressing that will definitely not disappoint In any way.
LABELS - NM
The labels are In near mint condition. Both are are very clean, & still look as good as new.
MATT GATEFOLD SLEEVE = EX+
The 'Garrod & Lofthouse' matt gatefold sleeve, Is also In really excellent shape. Very clean Inside & out. Just a few tiny light traces of edge storage wear. The spine Is excellent, with all text bold & clear & easy to read. A really great looking original gatefold cover, with no real faults at all.
CARD LYRIC INNER SLEEVE = EX+
The original card Inner sleeve with printed lyrics, Is again, In really nice shape. Looks new, all apart from a very small slither of wear on one of the side edges, this Is not a seem split, It has not worn right through, the Inner sleeve Is still perfectly Intact. This Is the original earliest card Inner sleeve, with 4 rounded corners, & a 9'' Inch slot at the top opening edge. Later copies came with a much flimsier perfectly square glossy paper Inner sleeve. The vinyl has spent most of It's days placed Inside a separate white poly-lined Inner sleeve, this has kept the original card Inner sleeve In near perfect condition. When shipped, the album will be removed from the outer gatefold cover, this will avoid seem splits during transit.
I will only send this Item by recorded post. I pack my records very well Indeed. I do not use flimsy record mailers. I use layers of very strong rigid cardboard. The Item will reach you In the same condition as advertised & pictured.
