Description

On offer here is a later pressing of Atom Heart Mother in fabulous condition.  It has obviously been looked after extremely well such is the quality of the vinyl and the gatefold.  I can barely see a hairline under a bright light and it retains that glossy sheen of new vinyl.
Side One begins with a couple of clicks before the music starts but from then on the audio is stunning and only plays with the slightest hint of crackle and the odd faint click.  It is most definitely one of the best I have heard.  During many of the quieter sections all you can hear is the music, no background noise whatsoever, the audio is sublime and plays with a deep rich clarity.  Wow!
Side Two plays with much the same quality.   There are three light clicks towards the end of 'If'.  The remainder of the track plays with absolute minimal interference.  You can hear a few light clicks during 'Summer 68'  but again the audio is clear and plays very well.  The final two tracks play superbly well with hardly any crackle at all.
  The gatefold is quite simply the best I have seen for a later pressing.  It is very difficult to find fault!  There is very minor rubbing at the bottom of the spine but as for the rest it is Mint all the way!  Fantastically clean edges, a strong wide spine and a very clean opening edge.
The yellow harvest labels are in great condition with hardly any spindle wear.  
Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system.

ALL RECORDS ARE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED IN STRONG MAILERS WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS.  THE RECORDS ARE ALSO REMOVED FROM THEIR SLEEVES TO AVOID CUTTING THROUGH THE COVER AND PUT INTO A SEPARATE SLEEVE, AND THEN PLACED INSIDE A PVC SLEEVE.
