Description
3ChordRecords is offering for auction an Excellent copy of the 1977 UK LP by Pink Floyd "Animals" on Harvest Records.
Cat No. SHVL 815
This LP is pressed on thick black vinyl, the record is in Excellent condition, it retains all of its original shine, has some light marks but no scratches. The picture labels are in Near Mint condition with no spidering. The matrix numbers are A2:B2. The record comes in an original black lyric inner sleeve, the inner sleeve is in Excellent condition with no splits or tears and only some light creasing along the bottom spine.
The Gatefold picture sleeve is in Excellent condition, there is some light wear and creasing on the front cover. There are no splits or tears, the spine is clean, the rear cover is near mint and is an original copy as there is no barcode. The inner sleeve of the gatefold is in excellent condition, again there is light creasing along some edges but no tears or splits. The inner sleeve confirms the Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. The side of the gatefold that does not contain the record has parted slightly where the glue has lifted slightly, there is no damage to the record but it could be reglued easily.
Overall an Excellent original copy of this increasingly hard to find rock rarity.
