This is the Original 1977 UK Pressing of `Animals` by Pink Floyd. No bar code on the cover. Vinyl Grading (EX++) under bright LED lights I can only see light sleeve removal scuffs (this is unusual as the record was sold in rough card inner sleeve which marked the vinyl), this copy has been placed in a proper hifi sleeeve, I played it through and it played fine, some light static/dust crackle that improved on play, no sticks/jumps or feelable scratches

Label Grading - Lovely Clean labels - just a few visible spindle lines

Inserts (EX) - thick card inner lyric sleeve 1st rounded corner issue with SHVL 815 (I) in lower corner

Sleeve (VG+ Very) - Matt finish `Garod & Lofthouse` Thick cardboard cover with the front edge of the gatefold sealed with a foldunder, and a wide spine, some ringwear and sticker removal (Please see photos for complete overview)

Packing Details – Every record will have the following:

  • Records placed separate from sleeve to avoid knifing

  • Sleeve and Vinyl placed in Polythene outer

  • Sealed in bubble wrap for extra protection

  • placed in cruciform professional record mailer

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in UK Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
