Pink Floyd - Animals Original 1977 UK Vinyl LP (Gatefold & Picture Inner sleeve).
This is an auction for a 12" vinyl copy of the "Animals" album from Pink Floyd.
This an original 1977 copy released on Harvest /EMI, catalogue no SHVL 815
The record comes in its original Gatefold sleeve, which is a bit battered but in reasonable condition for a 44 year old album, There is some light staining and white marks on the front, back and inner plus you can see a white line where the outline of the vinyl is plus there are some marks/scrapes/dents on the edges and corners of the record sleeve (see pictures for details).
The record comes with the original printed inner sleeve with lyrics which is in quite good condition for a sleeve of its age and just has some small marks and dents around the edges. (see pictures for details).
The record has the SHVL 815 A-2U and SHVL 815 B-2U etched in the centre. The record itself has been in a box for about 7 years and on inspection the vinyl looks to be pretty good for a 44 year old record, it does have some marks on it but doesn't look to be particularly badly scratched and the labels are in good condition (see pictures). It has not been played for a very long time but was fine when it was last played.
