Description
PINK FLOYD Atom Heart Mother LP 1970 1st UK PRESS Ex Audio RARE
This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks
Details:- From my own personal collection - Rare 1970 1st UK pressing on the original Harvest label with no EMI box logo and with 'Gramophone Co' text on rim. The record is housed in the original gatefold sleeve printed by Garrord & Lofthouse and has the original EMI Harvest advertising inner sleeve. Catalogue No. SHVL 781, matrix A-2G, B3
Vinyl Condition:- Visually VG++ but sounds EX+. Gleaming vinyl with very little play. One slightly more visible longish hairline on side 2 prevents me from grading EX visually but as this is silent the sound quality remains EX. A lightly played record. This record has been fully test played before this auction
Sleeve Condition:- VG++ or very near EX. Nice overall condition for this sleeve. It just has some slight marks on the front caused by storage between other records. Overall wear is minimal, NO splits, NO tears, NO unwanted handwriting etc. The inside of the gatefold is clean and the spine is crisp and fully readable.
Label Condition:- EX+ Clean labels with just a few light spindle marks
This record seldom comes up for sale. Don't miss your chance!
I always reduce postage on multiple items. Each additional item will only be charged 50% the original postage cost worldwide. Check out my other rare UK prog + psych vinyls!
ALL MY ITEMS ARE REFUNDABLE ON RETURN IF YOU ARE NOT ENTIRELY HAPPY WITH YOUR ITEM
Grading Abbreviations
Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade
MINT: I only used this grade for new or unplayed records. I use the grade NEAR MINT
If a record has been played, even if the condition of the record and sleeve is perfect.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
