A Beautiful Virtually NEAR MINT and Incredibly Rare Very 1st Press Vinyl with the SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE (Prism) labels in this Exceptional Unmarked Amazing and Unbelievable condition for 38 years of age - With the Original Matt Dark Blue Tinted Heavy Gatefold Cover Sleeve Printed and Made by 'Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd' Date Coded '7303 (1973 March) the Original Black Poly-lined Inner Sleeve with 'PATENT Nos.---' & 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' in Silver Grey text on the bottom - Both in EX or better condition!!! - Just so scarce these days and virtually Impossible to find a Copy of this Legendary Iconic Pink Floyd Album in this NEAR PERFECT Condition - Usually found to be in a terrible condition that has been Trashed and played to near Death & Destruction at wild parties etc in the early 70s  With the Cover sleeve usually found to be torn, worn, written/marked on and grubby looking with missing inner Sleeve/Posters/Postcards - Your probably thinking will I ever find that elusive Holy Grail 1st Press copy where the Cover sleeve and Vinyl are still half decent and Respectable with Vinyl surfaces that still look playable without any major audio distortion problems - Well You Have NOW!!!

Vinyl Condition: Nr. MINT The Vinyl visually on both playing surfaces at first examination retains all their Original shiny appearance in strong daylight with both sides that look completely flawless and virtually unmarked in amazing and exceptional stunning condition - That has only been played a minimal number of times very carefully in 38 years and is free from any bad surface marks or wear/blemishes looks virtually UNMARKED on even closer examination under a strong tilted light and to be even more critical - It's very hard to find or detect any type of obvious marks and reveals nothing more than some insignificant light blemishes with a very tiny light scuff surface blemish mark on Side 1 and can just about see one or two small near invisible hairline and a few and very feint mild wispy inner sleeve removal traces that absolutely doesn’t effect the virtually near Perfect Audio Playback - The vinyl still retains its original factory pressed look with jet black shiny gloss sheen and lustre - It would be virtually impossible to find vinyl that will come close let alone better this one!!!  

AUDIO PLAYBACK ASSESSMENT:  EX to NM  This Vinyl visually looks like it's been played only very lightly and appears to be Near Mint looking -  The Audio playback when played was  1st class and SENSATIONAL and Still Unbelievable for 38 years old   - Being uninterrupted with No Bad audible distortion or faults plays Virtually clear  from start to finish with dynamic STEREO quality and performance with only maybe the very lightest of static to be heard occasionally during the very quieter elements and intro starts on tracks during audio playback or if at all - But without any doubt this has to be one of the better ones your likely to hear from the Very first day 1st Pressing of this very Rare collectable that’s in this Exceptional and well Preserved and cared for condition!!!  

Please Note: Pressing Information: Pressings that use A-2 / B-2 lacquers have minor sound quality issues, particularly during the song, Money. Some copies also have a skip pressed into the grooves during the song Money. Such issues were corrected with the A-3 / B-3 cuttings, with the exception of the peak level distortion during the clocks at the beginning of the song Time (the MFSL UHQR LP is the only vinyl pressing without such distortion).  I have played this copy through from start to finish and with regards to the Tracks 'Money' I could'nt  detect any obvious skip noticeable and during the track 'Time' the clocks at the beginning do have a little light distortion for a few seconds.  

Labels Condition: Nr. MINT  Labels being the Rare Iconic Harvest 1st Day of Release Press - Light Blue Solid Prism with 'PINK FLOYD' 'THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON' & Track Listing in Silver Bold Text printed through the Light Blue Triangle on both sides which are Superb and Unmarked and looks near Perfect - Looks Hardly touched and it's only evident under angled bright light of some very faint spindle trace marks that are showing around the spindle hole with No noticeable wear around the spindle hole which still looks barely touched and its very evident that when it was ever played on that odd occasion it was done so very carefully!!!

Cover Condition: EX Original 1st Press Issue Dark Powdery Blue Tint Matt Gatefold sleeve cover Made and Printed  by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd - This Heavy weight made cover is Excellent in appearance showing all its original Bold and Vibrant colours - That's totally intact with sharp straight edges and excellent pointed corners - The cover overall looks to be virtually unmarked - Flat crisp and incredibly clean Inside and out of the gatefold and is a very fine example considering these 1st Press sleeves historically can wear very badly during the storage process and that's even when you take great care in trying to preserve them for nearly 4 decades - Which I certaintly have tried to do as with all my other cherished Vinyl - The cover only has some very minor blemishes being light edge wear and light scufffing to the corners with some minor record impression that is just starting to show through on the outer surfaces that have occured during the storage process and I do mean light blemishes! and is not that noticeable (this doesn't in anyway detract from the overall Superb condition of cover) 

Spine Condition: EX The spine is clean totally intact and near perfect - With only if you look close enough shows just some very light spots of mild storage rub wear along the spine and a little at each end of the spine (Hardly that Noticeable) 

Inner Sleeve: EX+ The Original Black Poly-lined Record company sleeve is Immaculate and looks Superb in a very clean intact condition and shows no evidence of any real handling wear over its lifetime - Absolutely NO Tears,Splits,Ink Writting,Stickers or other Bad Blemishes!!!

 The overall Brilliant Pristine condition of this Album is mainly due to the superb dry storage conditions and thick plastic cover protection on this LP Record over it's Lifetime!!!

Record Collector's Grading System:

MINT: The Record is in Brand New Condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The Cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet,booklet or poster are in Perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be MINT.  

EXCELLENT: The Record shows some signs of having been played,but there is very little lessing in sound quality. The Cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or Creasing.

VERY GOOD: The Record has obviously been played many times,but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the Cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.
