THIS SOUGHT AFTER CLASSIC ALBUM IS THE WORLD FAMOUS "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON" GENUINE UK FIRST PRESS FROM PINK FLOYD COMPLETE WITH 1ST PRESS SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE LABELS, 1ST PRES A2/B2 MATRIX, 1ST PRESS DARK BLUE GATEFOLD SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS BLACK INNER, TWO POSTCARD STICKERS AND TWO MASSIVE FOLDOUT POSTERS!

THIS IS THE ULTIMATE PINK FLOYD COLLECTIBLE

This LP variation with the solid blue triangle was only available for a VERY limited time in 1973 before it was changed to the usual blue outline triangle that every other copy has. I've heard first hand accounts where a fan would buy this LP on the very first day of release and not actually get this solid triangle variation! That's how rare this LP is!

The DARK BLUE 1st press gatefold sleeve with blue EMI and Harvest printed by Garrod and Lofthouse is in NEAR MINT condition with some creases and the front sticker (purple) in the front in near mint condition. The opening is near mint as it has been kept in a plastic cover.

The spine is in excellent to near mint condition with minor rounding in the corners.

The 1st Press SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE labels are in excellent plus condition (side 1) and very good plus condition (side 2). The vinyl is in very good plus condition.

The two massive foldout posters are also in near mint condition and never been hanged.

The two postcard stickers are in excellent condition but have been slightly bent on storage and one of them seem to have been attached by blue tack but never peeled off.

The black inner with "Patent No...." and "Made in Great Britain" letters is in excellent condition.

Mint                      

Cover - Looks new - no marks, wear or damage

Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible

Near Mint              

Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.

Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve

Excellent                

Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.

Disc- The record has been played and may have some superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.

Very good              

Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.

Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.

Good                      

Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.

Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of surface marks/scratches 

I am not a dealer but an amateur collector selling duplicated items or records that I no longer want to keep (mostly due to space). I do not clean records (other than a dust with anti-static) and unless indicated in the listing the records have been only visually inspected.

If the bidding exceeds £34 in the UK the item will be ONLY sent insured by special recorded next day guaranteed delivery post (insured up to a value of £500) at a cost of £7. The above P&P quoted is for UK only and the same principal on insurance will apply to international bidders who will need to pay £5 insurance in addition to the p&p.
