Matrix Press - SHVL 804 - A 3 / B 3 – very early matrix version. This is a rare A3 B3 matrix UK press of the great DARK SIDE OF THE MOON. Not as rare as the Solid Blue triangle pressings, the A3 presses came just after that variant was taken off the market, and were released in relatively small numbers. Finding a Complete UK A3 B3 press in this wonderful condition is very rare indeed and makes this a very special chance to own a genuinely rare collectors copy in TOP condition with Superb Audio.

VINYL - Near MINT.

This is a fantastic piece of vinyl, heavy weight, thick pressed, glossy black and unmarked. There is one tiny hairline only, and it is very light, almost unnoticeable. This record could have only been played a couple of times. A really fantastic example.

Album Played For Grading: Yes – brilliant!

Sound Quality: Near MINT . - This great record plays up to the high visual grading. Strong, undistorted sound free of pops or clicks. It looks and sounds virtually unplayed. the channels are clean and unstressed and there is no evidence of any groove-wear whatsoever. DSOTM is a musical masterpiece and is also famously a very sensitive piece of vinyl. Worn copies can have a lot of surface sound even on musically complex and busy tracks like on the run. This one plays through with great, un disturbed sound, fantastic!

LABELS - Nr MINT . Splendid deeply coloured attractive examples. There are only the lightest of spindle traces, virtually un noticable. There is no wear around the hole areas, with all ink uneroded and fully intact, virtually pristine

SLEEVE - EXCELLENT plus

DSOTM gatefold sleeves are usually very worn around the edges and corners, with significant ring wear, and the colour scuffed along the edges. Not this one. minimal wear and the opening edges are square and un frayed. The spine is unusually square and uncreased. There is No ring wear at all, and the edges have virtually no wear either. All round a really really great example.

MINT: Virtually unplayed. The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover is pristine.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

V.G PLUS: The record will still be nice and shiny, but may have a few light marks, and will play well. Slight wear and tear on the cover.

V.G: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, etc.
