Up for sale here: Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
A classic and ground breaking Pink Floyd album, this is a rare and highly sort after genuine 1st pressing. Stand out tracks, such as "Breathe" and "Money" are instantly recognisable, and will grab you straight away. Every song lovingly crafted by the classic line-up of Dave Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Richard Wright, this is often decribed as their finest work. The disc has solid light blue triangle labels, with "the Gramophone..." text around the rim. Comes in its original black polylined inner sleeve, with correct "PATENT Nos." and "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" text. Gatefold sleeve has only one side opening. Comes both the original posters and both stickers, all unused. Please contact me if you require the full track listing.
Catalogue Number: SHVL 804 on Harvest Records, Stereo, 1973
Matrtix Numbers: SHVL 804 A-2 & SHVL 804 B-2
The record is graded as VERY GOOD+, plays really well. A few very light marks on the vinyl, no skips or jumps, almost no background noise. Labels are EXCELLENT, no writing, stickers, etc.. Almost no spindle marks. The gatefold sleeve is VERY GOOD, some light scuffing and a little ringwear to the rear, no rips or tears, absolutely no writing. Spine is very good, a little scuffed, no splitting, all sleeve text is perfectly legible. Disc comes in its original black inner sleeve. Both posters have minimal creasing and have never been stuck on a wall (no pin marks, tape or other residue) and are in EXCELLENT condition. The darker coloured sticker is an original "crackback" 1st issue. It has a small crease to the top, and is in VERY GOOD+, unused condition. The second lighter sticker is a genuine replacement from a later issue, in NEAR MINT condition, the original having been lost before it came to the present owner.
A fabulous rare rock recording, would make a great addition to any collection. Starting low, with no reserve, chance to grab a real bargin.
