PINK FLOYD Dark Side Of Moon 1973 SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE

	£		175
	$		232

On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by :Pink Floyd called 'Dark Side Of The Moon' and is a MEGA rare 1973 UK Stereo 1st Pressing on the 1ST PRESS 'SOLID Blue Triangle' Harvest label!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST PINK FLOYD LPS - AND IS VERY HARD TO FIND!!!! IT IS ALSO 100% COMPLETE!!!! ONLY THE VERY 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP HAD THIS DISTINCTIVE 'SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE' ON THE LABELS - AND THIS WAS VERY QUICKLY CHANGED TO THE COMMON 'TRANSPARENT' TRIANGLE ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS.  BECAUSE OF THIS - THIS 1ST PRESSING WITH THE 'SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE' ON THE LABEL - IS VERY RARE AND VERY HARD TO FIND!!!!

THESE EXTREMELY RARE 1ST PRESSINGS WITH THEIR DISTINCTIVE LABELS - ALSO HAVE SOME VERY IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES WHEN COMPARED TO LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  FIRSTLY THE COVER IS FACTORY SEALED AT ONE END (SEE PICTURE) - AND THIS IS A 'PROPER' FACTORY SEAL WITH THE END OF THE COVER 'FOLDED INSIDE ITSELF' (SEE PICTURE) AND NOT JUST GLUED TOGETHER.  SECONDLY THESE RARE 1ST PRESSINGS HAVE A DISTINCTIVE 'DIE CUT' POLY LINED MATT BLACK INNER SLEEVE - WITH THE 'PATENTS' TEXT AND 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' TEXT IN SILVER PRINT.  NATURALLY (BEING THE 1ST PRESS LABELS) THE EDGE OF THE LABEL ALSO HAS THE EARLIEST 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT AND THE RECORD IS PRESSED ON THICK QUALITY VINYL.  MOST OF THESE 1ST PRESS LPS WERE ORIGINALLY 'SHRINKWRAPPED' - SO ANOTHER IMPORTANT POINT TO MAKE IS THAT MOST (THOUGH NOT ALL) OF THESE FIRST PRESSINGS HAD THE 'PINK FLOYD - DARK SIDE OF THE MOON' STICKER ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE COVER ON TOP OF THE SHRINKWRAP.  AS A RESULT - MOST OF THESE WERE LOST WHEN THE SHRINKWRAP WAS TAKEN OFF THE COVER.  HOWEVER THE PREVIOUS OWNER OF THIS LP (WHEN HE UNWRAPPED THE SHRINKWRAP) CAREFULLY TOOK THE STICKER (STILL ON THE SHRINKWRAP) AND CAREFULLY PLACED IT INSIDE THE COVER (SEE PICTURE)!!!!  IT IS INCREDIBLY RARE TO FIND THIS 1ST PRESS STICKER - AS MOST OF THESE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS STICKERS GOT LOST - OR WERE THROWN AWAY!!!!  THIS IS CLEARLY THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESS STICKER TOO (SEE PICTURE) - AS IT IS A LIGHTISH BLUE IN COLOUR - WHEREAS LATER ONES WERE DARKER.  IT HAS CLEARLY NEVER BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SHRINKWRAP EITHER AS THE STICKER IS PERFECT AND 'UNPICKED'!!!!  THIS REALLY IS EXTREMELY RARE TO FIND ONE OF THESE 1ST PRESS STICKERS!!!!  BUT NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS 1ST PRESSING HAS ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS POSTERS AND 1ST PRESS STICKERS!!!!  WHILST IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO TELL A GENIUNE 1ST PRESS SET OF POSTERS (AS ALL LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME) - IT IS VERY EASY TO TELL A GENIUNE 1ST PRESS SET OF STICKERS - AS THEY ARE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT COLOUR AND HAVE A DISTINCTIVE MANUFACTURER!!!!  IF YOU LOOK AT MY PICTURES - YOU CAN SEE 2 SETS OF STICKERS.  AT THE TOP OF THE PICTURE IS THE ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS STICKERS - AND AS YOU CAN SEE THEY ARE MUCH LIGHTER IN COLOUR AND HAVE A SMALLER WHITE BORDER.  THEY ALSO HAVE A MORE 'MATT' LOOK TO THEM - WHEREAS LATER STICKERS ARE MUCH MORE 'GLOSSY'.  BELOW THE GENIUNE 1ST PRESS STICKERS YOU CAN SEE 2 LATER STICKERS - AND THEY ARE MUCH DARKER IN COLOUR AND HAVE A BIGGER WHITE BORDER.   THE BACK OF LATER STICKERS ARE OFTEN 'BROWN' IN COLOUR - WHEREAS THE REVERSE OF 1ST PRESS STICKERS ARE 'WHITE' AND WERE MADE BY A COMPANY CALLED 'FASPRINT'.  LATER STICKERS ARE MADE BY DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS.  I CAN ALSO SAY WITH CERTAINTY THAT THE POSTERS ARE 100% ORIGINAL TO COVER TOO - AS THIS LP CAME FROM A DOMESTIC PRIVATE COLLECTION WHICH HAD CLEARLY ONLY EVER HAD 1 OWNER FROM NEW!!!!   THIS IS THE VERY EARLIEST 1973 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP AND IS EXTREMELY RARE TO FIND COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS COVER, 1ST PRESS INNER, 1ST PRESS INSERTS, 1ST PRESS STICKERS, 1ST PRESS LABELS AND 1ST PRESS RECORD!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE 1ST PRESSING OF THIS GROUNDBREAKING LP!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Harvest UK 1st pressing from 1973!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SHVL 804 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE 'custom' Harvest label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Pink Floyd at their best!!!! Any fan of Pink Floyd, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The all important MEGA RARE 'Solid Blue Triangle' 1st Press record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! And whilst the Cover, Inserts, labels, and Black Inner are in STUNNING condition - the vinyl isnt quite as perfect - though still VERY playable!!!!  And of course - the labels of this LP are clearly of UTMOST importance - as you can of course listen to this LP on ANY later pressing (and earliest 2nd pressings will still have the same sound quality) - but ONLY on this MEGA RARE 1st Pressing can you find these UNIQUE 1st Press labels!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, and NO hairlines.  HOWEVER there are quite a few careless scufflines to both sides.  These are clearly NOT made by a needle (probably carelessness) and are slightly thicker and greyer in appearance than needlelines.  NONE are deep and NONE sound in ANY way - but all the same these have to be mentioned. There is also a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! The record is VERY shiny looking and THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss - but there is some background crackle/surface noise in places.  The record must grade Good+!!!!  But as I said before - this record may not be Mint - but it plays through fine with NO jumps and you can ONLY find these MEGA RARE labels on 1st Pressings!!!!  AND THE LABELS ARE IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL Black inner sleeve - which is in STUNNING 'unsplit' condition!!!! THE 2 POSTERS AND 2 STICKERS ARE IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!!  The 1st Press Gatefold 'Garrod & Lofthouse' ('Factory Sealed At One End') Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (MEGA rare on this cover), barely ANY creases (cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing and barely ANY rubbing AT ALL!!!! There is NO rips, NO tears and NO staining!!!! The cover must grade Excellent (Minus) if not better!!!!  THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE 1973 STEREO 1ST PRESSING AND VERY HARD TO FIND WITH THESE MEGA RARE LABELS!!!!  WHILST THIS LP ISNT MINT - THE COVER, STICKER, INSERTS AND INNER ARE IN STUNNING CONDITION - AND THIS IS A GREAT CHANCE FOR SOMEONE TO OWN THIS GROUNDBREAKING LP AT A CHEAPER PRICE THAN A MINT COPY!!!!  SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP!!!!
