A side matrix (stamped):
S H V L 8 0 4 A - 2 A G (at '3 o'clock') 2 (at '9 o'clock')
B side matrix (stamped):
S H V L 8 0 4 B - 2 A M (at '3 o'clock') 1 (at '9 o'clock')
(The very earliest possible pressing is an A-2 G 1/ B-2 G 1 pressing. The letters after the A-2 went up sequentially using the first few letters of The Gramophone Co. Ltd; G R A M O P H L T D - giving a total of 10 letters that could be used in varying combinations; so the version listed above uses A and G for the A side and A and M for the B side. A single letter is very rare, 2 letters rare, 3 letters more common).
A SIDE
PLAYGRADED IN FULL: Read the track by track audio review....(playgraded on top quality headphones)
1. Speak To Me - light background crackle, one 'ffuff' sound under heartbeat intro, just light background crackle then whilst spoken background is playing. No pops or clicks.
2. Breathe - light background crackle (very faintly audible under music). Lovely volume and tone, particularly bass frequency. Plays with no pops or clicks at all.
3. On The Run - light background crackle (very faintly audible under music). Lovely volume and tone, particularly bass frequency. Very nice stereo separation, particularly on headphones! No pops or clicks.
4. Time - light background crackle (audible during quiet parts of intro, faintly audible under music). Lovely volume and tone, particularly bass frequency. No pops or clicks.
5. The Great Gig In The Sky - light background crackle, audible during quiet parts of intro, several faint clicks which stop just before the "I'm not frightened of dying..." vocal. Sounds great during Clare Torrey's spine tingling vocals. Background crackle on quiet ending.
Vinyl looks in VG condition, with several light hairlines and a few surface scuffs but nothing deep, feelable or horrendous looking. A reasonably well played copy.
B SIDE

OUTER SLEEVE
Sleeve is in EX+ condition. Most are trashed, faded, worn and with severe foxing to the outer cover, this is in surprisingly good condition with virtually NO wear to the edges and spine. Spine is square. No sticker pulls or graffiti. This has the folded over and sealed seam to the left hand opening edge of the gatefold. Very few foxing marks to outer covers, lovely rich deep ink colour. Has the correct blue printed printer's credit on the inner gatefold:
