Description
This is by far the best mastering of Pink Floyd's iconic DSOTM. Originally released in 1973, Mobile Fidelity remastered the original master tapes and worked their magic.
If you only ever own one Mobile Fidelity classic pressing, then this album should be near or at the top of your list.
Benefits massively from being played on a decent turntable.
The vinyl is in pristine condition and has been played no more than twice. There is a superb gloss and lustre to the record. Matrix numbers are: A2-1 B2-1 This makes the pressing a first pressing from Japan. The labels are both immaculate and there are no spindle marks to be seen. The MOFI inner is A1. The MOFI inner card is present and is near mint - mint. The gatefold sleeve is immaculate and easily rates as near mint. Just some very light edge wear per photos. Practically no perceptible difference between this and a new copy......which obviously is hard to find as this album is long deleted. New copies also carry a hefty price tag which can be halved after just one play. Taken from my own collection. Happy to offer a full refund if for any reason you feel my listing was misleading or incorrect and you are unhappy with your purchase. Record must be returned within 14 days, properly packed and in the same condition as when I sent it.
