Description

Bought in 1973, This copy has been in my collection for the last 39 years. It is an early first pressing A2 B2 with solid blue triangle label. In my wanton youthfulness I used a dynmo labeler to type my initials and stuck it on side one. I have not atempted to remove it for fear of damaging the label itself. The disc comes in the original black inner sleeve with rounded edges and poly lining. one side is blank, the other has the patent number1126555 1072644.

The sleeve has the original sticker on the front (some first pressings did have the sticker- some didn't) and is open at one side for the lp to go in. The other side is folded in and glued. The sleeve itself is worn at the top of the spine and at bottom less so. There is ringwear on the back and some marking on the front. For 39 years old it still looks good. I am not a grading expert but  reading the record collector grading system I would consider it EX./VG

I am playing the disc for the last time. LOUD. There is surface crackle. There is one click at the start of great gig in the sky and four smaller clicks at the beginning of us and them, but other than that it is fine. I had forgotten how great it sounds on vinyl after years of hearing the cd version. With a good clean it will sound even better but I will leave that up to you.  There are no jumps skips or sticks anywhere. It plays well.

The posters are in mint condition. never been on any wall. The pyramid one has a slight crease on edge but is very minimal. One of the stickers has a crease.
