PINK FLOYD DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
Issue : UK ORIGINAL PRESS Label : HARVEST Catalogue No : SHVL 804 Matrix : SHVL 802 A-3 / B-2
This is the UK original of 'Dark Side Of The Moon' by Pink Floyd. This press is complete with the very early A3/B2 matrix, 2 original 'Fasprint' lined stickers and 2 white border posters. It also comes complete with the rare earliest dark blue (not black) original colour Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve with a sealed front edge and the scarce original earliest black inner sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a superb gloss, there are no heavy signs of play at all. There are just a few extremely light marks on each side. The triangle label has bold black, vivid blue and only light spindle wear and a few spider marks. The black text is sharp and 'The Gramophone Company' text can be clearly seen around the rim.
On playing there is just the occasional light background noise, but this does not spoil the enjoyment of the record at any point. The sound is bold, vibrant and extremely clear, with superb clarity and separation throughout.
The record is complete with the black inner sleeve in Excellent condition.
The 2 matt stickers have not been peeled and are in Excellent condition. Extremely bright and clean. They have firm edges, bright colours and are very solid.
The posters are completely clean, the white is bright, the colours are vivid and there is no discolouration. They are in Mint condition.
The earliest dark blue matt, sealed edge, Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The black is exceptionally bold and solid and the rainbow colours are vivid. The traingle is sharp and the sticker is sealed and unworn. The inside has very slight wear at the top edge but is still looks superb. The back has a light crease but is otherwise superb and the edges have very light wear but are still very firm. Overall this sleeve is in wonderful original condition with only the slightest signs of age.
