Hopefully you can see from all the photos that the cover has some wear to the corners and spines, but is
otherwise generally clean. Two posters and two stickers present, the one with the band pictures has a
small split at the bottom of one fold point, the pyramid poster is clean and both are unused. Stickers are
clean.
Generally the vinyl looks extremely clean, nothing to see in normal light, only when held in strong sunlight
can you see it has quite a few very fine hairlines and the label shows some spindle marks if you look
closely, so played a bit.
I'm listening to it as I write this, on pretty sensitive equipment. The very quiet start of side one
has background noise, which is noticable throughout quieter passages on both sides . The first part of side
one is where it's most noticable, it quietens down as it goes on, with the loud parts free of any noticable
background. The B-sides is generally quieter. S ome of the initial A2/B2 matrix pressings were known
to heve a pressing fault on the track "Money", this one plays perfectly.
As you'll probably be aware, the listening pleasure from a first pressing of this album is in a different
league to the later represses, punchy and crisp. This copy is not for the audiophile, both sides play with
some noticable background in parts, however there are no major ticks, pops, and most certainly no skips
at any point. There are no scratches in evidence, just the sort of fine wear you pick up taking records in
and out of the sleeve over time.
