Description

For sale here is a first UK pressing of their 1994 album "THE DIVISION BELL". Also included in the auction is an original and genuine 1994 tour programme.

Part of a huge (over 150 albums) Floyd collection I have been asked to sell over the next few weeks. This is a lovely example with a superb cover and inner sleeve. The vinyl looks gorgeous with just one small issue. All details and play-grading below.

THE DIVISION BELL.
Very earliest UK pressing A1/B2. There is none earlier. The cover is in superb condition, as is the vinyl and inner sleeve. Cover and inner are graded Excellent plus (Ex+). The vinyl is graded as visually Ex+ and by listening, also Ex+, BUT WITH ONE SMALL EXCEPTION. On the track "Lost for words" there is a small mark, about half the size of a little finger nail. This mark causes a soft click during the majority of the track. In all honesty, it is hard to hear most of the time. The percussion on this particular track swallows up the click and mostly it is hard to tell the ticks from the percussion without really listening out for it. Its a shame because the rest of the album looks and sounds pretty amazing. Due to the mark and the soft ticks it produces, the play-grading drops to Ex. The rest an easy Ex+.
This album is almost 30 years old now. To be brutally honest, it looks like it came out of a record store just 30 minutes ago, apart from that one small blemish. It is a stunner. 
Included also is an original and genuine souvenir tour programme from the 1994 promotional tour. This is in great shape with only the lightest handling marks. These fetch good money as a stand alone item, but nice to have it present with a first pressing.
