Recorded live at Paris Theatre, London, 12 May 1969 and at Hyde Park, London, 18 July 1970.

A Note on this LP: We don’t have this in our own collection but the sound quality of this recording is said to vary from good to excellent and it is considered to be one of the most essential Floyd recordings of this type on vinyl.

This is a great package – the glossy gatefold sleeve (in near-mint condition) contains a beautiful display of period photographs.

Side One tracks were recorded by the BBC for John Peel’s ‘Night Ride’ show. This recording is sourced from an archive master “in stellar audio quality” according to the LP sleeve.

Side Two tracks were recorded at Blackhill’s Garden Party – the Hyde Park Free Concert – on video tape. Atom Heart Mother is a line feed from the video cameras used. Oh, and the last section has been patched-in from a show 2 days before because of a technical snag at the Hyde Park show.
