Featuring the incomparable Syd Barrett on lead vocals and guitar, PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN is one of the greatest psychedelic rock albums of all-time. It is chock-full of spaced-out, psychedelic rock tunes, which are guaranteed to blow your mind. Barrett's lyrics have a child-like innocence where the subject matter rapidly shifts from songs about mythical creatures, Chinese philosophy, and astronomy to Syd's pet cat ("Lucifer Sam") and favorite bicycle ("Bike"). Musically, PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN features some of the most tripped-out guitar playing and drumming anyone had ever heard in 1967. lf you are not familiar with the music on this album, you will be in for a mind-frying treat. If you are already a fan of this album, and you are looking for a copy on the original vinyl, you are probably buying it because you know that PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN is one of the best rock 'n roll albums of all-time.
On a grading scale of M-, EX, VG+, VG, G, and P the condition of this album is as follows:
Disc = EX (disc is very close to M-).
Cover = EX
