Other notes: 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' is noted on the rim text.
Sleeve notes:
Textured sleeve with 'File under 'POPULAR' noted inside.
Sleeve Condition:
This falls between VG+ and EX with only light shelf wear. No writing or staining. There is a slight rub on the front of the sleeve where there are two minor areas where flaking of the texture has happened sometime in the past. Looks worse than it really is.
Other than that it's a good strong sleeve. Slight bump wear to corners but all are relativity square. The spine is worn but still strong with no splits. Obviously the cover has been opened quite a few times over the 43 years. Perfectly consecutive for the age and the material used. Hardly any visual ring wear. No fading to cover to what I can see.
Vinyl Condition:
Vinyl - What can I say. The high gloss, deep black slab of vinyl is between NM and NM-. Only very, very faint removal whisps visible under bright light. It's appearance looks to be as clean and bright as the day it was released.
Really beautiful.
Labels - NM nice and bright and clean. Some spindle lines but not many.
Sound Condition:
Sound - SUPERB!!! - Powerful and clear with some clicks here and there and therefore perfectly consecutive regarding it's age. Only very slight background noise. Although visually the vinyl is superbly clean I would say that having this professionally cleaned will only improve on this.
