Soundtrack From The Film "More"

This is the rarer first pressing with one EMI logo at the bottom of the label and the couple facing west on the back cover.  It is rare also to see a G stamper on the S1 label.

Matrix numbers : YAX 3868 - 1G / YAX 3869 - 1G // Stampers GG 1 / RM

The audio on both sides ranges between VG+ and Ex

The laminated cover is VG++

The labels are Near Mint-

The original inner sleeve is Ex+

Visual grading

There are a few fine hairlines on each side but no scratches.  You can also see a small number of faint marks on the opening track of each side.  There is some spindle wear but not what I would call an excessive amount.

Play grading  

There is some crackle during 'Cirrus Minor' mainly at the beginning and during the middle section.  Other sections play cleanly with only light interference.  The remainder of the side plays with excellent quality overall and 'The Crying Song' is a fine example of this and only has a little static towards the end and plays with superb audio for such a quiet track.  'Green Is The Colour' has only one obvious click and again has very impressive audio.  'Cymbaline' for the majority plays very clearly but does have a small number of clicks in the middle section.

'Main Theme' has a little crackle at the beginning but this soon dissipates.  Thereafter there is some sporadic background static but generally plays very clearly.  'Ibiza Bar' is impressive in that it plays with less distortion than usual.  The quieter tracks on this side play with excellent clarity and only a little static here and there, no loud clicks or pops at all.  There is a little static hiss during 'Quicksilver' but for such a quiet track it plays very well overall.  The final two instrumental tracks have no obvious 'background' and play with excellent audio.

Cover

Whilst the laminated E.J. Day cover has some shelf wear the edges and thin pinched spine are in superb condition.  The corners have a little wear/creasing and the bottom left on the front does have some 'white' marking.  The laminate is overall in excellent shape with only minor creasing.  The flipbacks are very clean with only mild staining and are certainly cleaner than many you see.  The back cover is generally very clean and the opening edge has only minor handling wear.

Inner sleeve

The original sleeve is in superb shape with only one tiny tear at the top.  It has the 'Sgt Peppers' and 'Piper' cover on either side and has no marking just some light creasing.

The labels

The one box EMI labels are in great condition with no marking or writing, just some spindle wear.
