This record is in near mint condition. It has just one spindle mark visible on the label of side 2, while I can see none on side 1. There are no pen marks, scuffs, fading or any other damage and overall the labels are clean, bright and in superb condition.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are really clean and have very little visible in normal light. Both sides have a vivid lustre and only show a few of the most minor thin lines and faint 'flecks' when angled. There is a few more extremely minor light wispy lines visible in very bright light but not many at all and of course nothing remotely serious or sinister. The record has no serious scuffs, marks or blemishes, has a beautiful vivid shine and in is great shape all round.
I play tested the record and it played really well with excellent clarity for such a mellow album. It lays flat on the deck but upon playing there is the slightest possible raise in the record arm. This is very slight however and is of course nowhere near a level to cause any issues. The sound produced is really clear as I say with the quiet intro to side 1 near silent. There is virtually no surface noise on the album with the last half of side 2(which is near silent in parts) really clear. There is of course no skips, sticks or annoying ticks and no distortion caused by excessive use. I did however note 5 or 6 very light splutters or noises in the early and quiet parts of track 3 on side 1. Other than these(which are faint and brief) I noted little. There was the odd sporadic light noise but overall nothing much at all and barely any surface noise at all. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire play test and for such a quiet album it plays very well indeed.
The sleeve is in near mint condition. It has next to no wear or rubbing to the edges and corners(pics) with the writing along the spine all clearly legible. It has a strong spine and there are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is only a few minor creases to the laminated front and no serious ring marks to either side. There is some very slight age related grubbiness near the top edge on the rear but this is not severe and other than this there is little to report. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on the sleeves condition.
It contains its original plain white EMI inner which is in very good+ condition with no splits or pen marks but with some light creasing, age related discolouring and 2 small(4mm) tears to one edge. I will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure it remains clean and fresh.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
