LABELS: EXCELLENT++
Clean, bright and unmarked labels with just a few light spindle traces - not seen much play
VINYL Visual: EXCELLENT++
Both surfaces retain their original deep, like-new, glossy sheen and are practically unmarked - some light hairlines and two light marks parallel to the grooves on 'Echoes' - but none of these have any audio consequence.
There is however, a tiny raised pressing flaw (just a small bump on the vinyl surface) at the very beginning of 'One Of These Days" which is audible for 14 revolutions during the quiet wind intro - not loud clicks just a dull background sound as it is passed over
VINYL Audio: EXCELLENT / NEAR MINT
The sound quality is sensational throughout - strong, deep, rich and beautifully warm and apart from the pressing flaw mentioned above the rest of Side One plays with little to fault, in fact it's exceptionally clean - always a big ask for this record with it's many delicate, quiet passages.
Side Two, 'Echoes' is practically flawless and sounds absolutely gorgeous
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT-
The original 1971 soft-backed textured gatefold cover has some rubbing to the spine but is otherwise a fine example with unmarked surfaces and no other wear to speak of - clean, sharp and fresh
INNER SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
No seam splits - just some age-related discolouration from the glue used to fix the poly-lining
