LAMINATED FLIPBACK, GREEN/WEST, ORIGINAL INNER
PINK FLOYDSoundtrack From The Film "More"
UK COLUMBIA (SCX 6346) FIRST PRESSING (July 1969) OF PINK FLOYD'S "More" LP
THEIR SOUNDTRACK TO THE BARBET SCHROEDER FILM
LOVELY ORIGINAL COPY WITH BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN SOUND
'More' is the first full-length soundtrack album by Pink Floyd, released on 27 July 1969.
'More' contains some acoustic folk ballads, a genre that appeared sparsely on later works.
It also contains a couple of hard rock songs ("The Nile Song", "Ibiza Bar"), as well as several instrumental tracks, featuring their experimental, avant-garde approach.
This is Pink Floyd's first full album without founding member Syd Barrett, who left the group in early 1968 during the recording of 'A Saucerful of Secrets'.
It is also the first album to be produced by Pink Floyd without assistance from Norman Smith and was recorded at Pye Studios, Marble Arch, London and engineered by Brian Humphries

LABELS: EXCELLENT+
Clean, unmarked labels with light/moderate spindle traces - clearly been played but also very carefully handled evident from the unmarked surfaces and superb sound performance
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces appear unmarked and shine like new
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
Outstanding audio quality - deep, rich and warm and my play-check at loud volume found no audio issues of note.
The whole set plays beautifully with exceptionally clean sound (always a big ask for this record with its many quiet, delicate passages)
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT-
The cover is good and solid with no structural damage. The laminated front still retains a nice glossy sheen and all edges are crisp and square with no wear to speak of (all spine text is clear and bold) but there are some creases to the spine and some marks on the untreated back
INNER SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
The original inner is clean and unmarked - no splits to any of the seams
