Description
PINK FLOYD More 1971 UK COLUMBIA PRESS 1/G 1/G GRAM. CO. RIM TEXT EXCELLENT
PINK FLOYDSoundtrack From The Film "More"
1971 UK COLUMBIA (SCX 6346) PRESSING OF PINK FLOYD’S SOUNDTRACK TO THE 1969 BARBET SCHROEDER FILM
LOVELY COPY WHICH HAS SEEN LITTLE, IF ANY USE
'More' is the first full-length soundtrack album by Pink Floyd, released on 27 July 1969 which contains some acoustic folk ballads, a genre that appeared sparsely on later works.
It also contains a couple of hard rock songs ("The Nile Song", "Ibiza Bar"), as well as several instrumental tracks, featuring their experimental, avant-garde approach.
This is Pink Floyd's first full album without founding member Syd Barrett, who left the group in early 1968 during the recording of A Saucerful of Secrets.
It is also the first album to be produced by Pink Floyd without assistance from Norman Smith and was recorded at Pye Studios, Marble Arch, London and engineered by Brian Humphries

LABELS: NEAR MINT
Clean, unmarked labels with barely a spindle trace to be seen and the spindle hole is still quite tight
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces shine like-new and even under bright light there is barely a mark to be seen
VINYL Audio: EXCELLENT/VERY GOOD
My play-check at volume found little to fault the deep, rich and warm sound.
A few clicks noted mostly at the very end of "Main Theme" and at the very end of "Ibiza Bar "on Side 2 otherwise, sounds great and all-in-all a fine copy of this record which with its many quiet, soft passages is always a big ask to find playing in perfectly clean condition
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
The cover is superb and as crisp, clean, sharp and fresh as the day it was made
