I am in the process of selling my Record Collection, I always purchased the best vinyl copies I could find and looked after them carefully. Some I only played once. This is the UK issue of `Obscured By Clouds` by Pink Floyd, it is the 1st EVER UK issue on the EMI Label in TOP condition, it comes with original 1st Issue Textured `Rounded Corner` sleeve (very prone to wear) also in great condition - Matrix: SHSP 4020 A2 - SHSP 4020 B2
Vinyl (M-) Plays great (Even on the quiet sections) with no sticks or jumps etc, even under bright halogen lights I can hardly see even the lightest of sleeve removal scuffs, no feelable scratches Top copy
Labels - Original clean Green Harvest labels with `Gramophone Co` text - just 2 visible spindle lines shows hardly played in it`s 50 years
Inners - Comes with the original white `Made In England` `Patent No - 1,125555` inner also in great condition with none of the usual knifing splits
Sleeve (EX++) Original textured matt finish `Garrod & Lofthouse` Gatefold Sleeve with `File Under POPULAR` sleeve text, printed on thin card & incredibly prone to wear, this a great copy with a clearly readable spine (very unusual), nice sharp opening (showing lack of play) some edgewear, very small corner crease & indentations, great copy (Please see photos for complete overview)
I am in the process of selling lots of obscure & rare Records/CD`s, I will be posting regularly why not check them out! I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover
I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)
Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
