DEBUT LP 'PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN'
COLUMBIA RECORDS SX6157 ON BLACK/ BLUE LABEL
RELEASED 5TH AUGUST1967 UK FIRST PRESSING- MONO

ORIGINAL EMI ADVERTISING INNER SLEEVE
CONDITION:
Sleeve: VG+- The original mainated cover still has it original sheen, however has some ringwear and 'crinkles' of the laminate, however no major bends or tears on the front cover. The rear side of the cover is also in very good form, it seems someone had used sellotape to the top and bottom edges and it appears to have been removed leaving some residue. It appear that the sellotape also took over a small edge of the 'flap' as it was being removed.
Vinyl: VG+ Side 1 seems to have lost some of its original sheen and has a couple hairlines. Side 2 appears shinnier but there are a few more hairline scratches than side 1. The labels are intact with only slight rubbing near the hole, it is completely legible and there is evidence of spindle marks from having been played often.
Overall a great piece of musical history, probably the best psychedelic LP's of all time that does not come by too often!!!
