PINK FLOYD VINYL LP
THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN

Up for bid is one very nice rare vinyl LP of Pink Floyd's The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, featuring original Pink Floyd guitarist Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Rick Wright, and Nick Mason. It is black vinyl with the EMI black label, catalog number SCX 6157. The label has "MADE IN GT BRITAIN" printed at the bottom, starting 5-6 o'clock indicating that this is most likely a 3rd or 4th issue of The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. I am the original owner and purchased this LP new when I was in London in the very early 1980's, so it was pressed sometime in the late 1970's or early 1980's.

Condition: This record has been carefully played over the years an I haven't touched it in about 15 years. The album sounds great and there is some light static now and again as with most vinyl records. The spine is clear and readable. The front cover is near mint and has a couple of very small creases in the plastic coating due to age. The back cover has a small stain at the upper right. Overall, I would rate this LP as very good to excellent condition.
