Pink Floyd – Piper at the Gates of Dawn - 1967 Columbia (Blue/Black) UK original Mono LP SX 6157

Condition of LP
Cover – The original laminated flipback sleeve is in good condition. Nice and square with some wear. There is slight rubbing on the edges and corners. The rear of the cover does suffer from staining/dirt marks and there is a name written in biro faintly in the top left hand cover of the flipback. Please refer to the photographs.
Vinyl – The vinyl suffers from one significant warp/bend (see photographs)There are also number of sleeve removal marks and some hairlines consistent with the LP being played over the years. There are however a couple of more noticeable surface scratches, but these do not significantly effect the sound. The sound is still decent with occasional pops and some background noise in quieter passages. Having played this again for playgrading purposes, I still found it very enjoyable to listen to.
This LP is by far not the greatest of specimens, but nevertheless collectable.
Just for your information the LP's were playgraded from start to finish on a Clearaudio Performance Turntable with a Clearaudio Maestro cartridge through a Pure Sound Valve phono stage. You can therefore feel confident that the LP was really put through its paces.
