Description

Pink Floyd – Point Me At The Sky/Careful With That Axe Eugene (Columbia, DB 8511), a very nice copy of this extremely rare single from 1968, Pink Floyd’s last 45” for over ten years.

 

This is an original record: the vinyl is in Very Good condition, featuring very slight crackle (as is to be expected of a record this old), although it does boast a lovely, crisp, clear sound. There is a jump halfway through the B-side. The vinyl looks generally clean, with just a few light marks which do not affect the sound quality. The disc comes complete with a red Columbia company sleeve, again in Very Good condition, bearing only slight wear to the edges.

 

I hope I’m not playing down the condition of this record too much, but I really want to be honest, as it’s not perfect by any means. But, in my opinion, it is a LOVELY copy of a quite wonderful record, and it’s with much, much regret that I’m actually selling it; it is an essential, and much sought-after, addition to every serious record collection. This is an excellent opportunity to get your hands on such a rare item.
