On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pink Floyd called "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1967 UK MONO 1st pressing!!! The Cat. No is SX 6157 on the 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Pink Floyd at their best!!!!
However - this is a record that has been well used over the years. In fact this is an opportunity for someone to own a MASSIVELY rare record for a lesser price than a mint copy. The record labels are in reasonable condition (see pictures) with some wear near the centre hole, NO writing and some spindle markings. The vinyl is in reasonable condition for its age. Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. And whilst this copy does play pretty well ALL the way though and WITHOUT jumping it does have a lot of general scuffing, hairlines and surface marks. Clearly this copy has been very well enjoyed over the years - though again it is important to stress that is does play WELL with only some typical light crackle in places. The playing grade is Good+ (maybe even better), though the visual grading is Good- at best. THIS COPY IS DEFINTELY A REASONABLE PLAYING COPY - AND CERTAINLY IS A GREAT CHANCE TO SOMEONE TO OWN THIS MASSIVE RARITY AND VERY SOUGHT AFTER LP - AT A MUCH CHEAPER PRICE THAN A MINT COPY!!!! Whilst not pretty (though the labels arent bad) this copy can still provide years of play (NO jumps) for someone glad to own a copy of this CLASSIC LP!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner!!!! The Flipback E.J.Day MONO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), some creases and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is nice and straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO yellowing, NO writing, a faint stain, and just some slight grubbyness!!!! There is also a price sticker, and a Radio Station sticker on the reverse. The cover must grade Very Good(Minus) if not better!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP in this sort of condition!!!!
