On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pink Floyd called "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1967 UK MONO 1st pressing!!! THIS LP IS VERY HARD TO FIND AND RARELY EVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND ANY MONO 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP!!!! THIS IS THE 1967 1ST MONO PRESSING ON THE BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL, WITH 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, A 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, A 'KT' TAX CODE, AND A 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' FLIPBACK SLEEVE!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY TOUGH TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is SX 6157 on the 1967 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Pink Floyd at their best!!!! Any fan of Pink Floyd, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition with NO wear, NO writing and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record has NO scratches, only a few light hairlines, a couple of TINY marks, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL HAS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! The record plays with only a VERY few clicks/pops (only a VERY few), NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle, and only some low level surface noise (only noticeable on the gaps & run on groove - virtually lost in the music)!!!! The record must grade Very Good if not better (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed)!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve - which is in STUNNING unsplit condition though for some reason it is a little 'tight' around the record on insertion though it still fits perfectly. The 'E.J.Day' 1st Press Flipback Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in GREAT condition with NO yellowing, NO writing, and NO grubbyness!!!! However there are a few minor faults which do need to be mentioned. Firstly the cover front has quite a few creases - though NONE are serious (NO splits) and the cover is still flat looking. Secondly there is stain in the bottom right of the cover back. And thirdly there is a small area of rubbing near to the top of the cover back (just below the top flipback). Whilst this cover isnt Mint - it has NO major faults (NO splits, NO rips, NO tears, NO writing, etc) and the cover is still VERY presentable. The cover must grade Very Good (Minus)!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND VERY HARD TO FIND - AND WHILST THIS ONE ISNT PERFECT - THIS IS STILL A GREAT CHANCE FOR SOMEONE TO OWN THIS MEGA RARE LP AT A CHEAPER PRICE THAN A MINT COPY!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE LP!!!!
