Description

On offer here is a rare LP by Pink Floyd called "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" and is a  rare 1967 UK MONO 1st pressing on the 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label with Sold in UK  .. Text on Labels, KT tax code and E.J. Day printed cover.

This is the Original Columbia  UK MONO 1st pressing. The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SX 6157 .  Matrix NO´s are XAX 3419-2, XAX 3420-1, stamping codes are 1GA / 1GH.

The record labels have general wear and spindle marks but no writing or any stickers (see images).

The record has been played over the years and not always carefully. Thanks to the high quality vinyl however, it is still enjoyable listening. It has no deep scratches, only surface ones that each cause three light pops, several hairlines and paper scuffs. Apart of that it plays with no pops, no jumps, and only little crackle here and there. The sound quality itself is great, with only little groovewear and very few distortion on the inside tracks.  The record must grade VERY GOOD!!!.  I use RC grading standards.

The record also has its original 1st press inner sleeve which is in VERY GOOD !!! condition.

The  laminated flipback cover has a condition that goes along with the record. It has no splits, few edge wear, few spinal wear, barely any corner wear, beautiful shiny laminate, with a little “scratch” near  the opening. The opening edge is still straight with lightest feathering. But as the record, the cover was not treated carefully while taking out the record, leading to thumbprint creases, but fortunately no delamination. The unlaminated back cover shows certain grubbiness and has a name written in the upper left corner. The cover must grade VERY GOOD!!!

This LP is extremely hard to find, so don´t miss out this opportunity!
