Description
For auction is PINK FLOYD's "Piper At The Gates Of Dawn," on Tower ST-5093, 1967.
SOUND: NM
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound on this playback is beautiful, clean and sharp! Only 2 or 3 faint tics (barely noticeable) keep it from perfection -- you will be delighted!
VINYL: VG+ or better
Matrix run-outs are etched: Side A: ST1-5093-B2.... Side B: ST2-5093-B2. Also has the little triangle thingy in the dead wax on both sides. There is one light scuff on side B, quite noticeable, but completely superficial. Otherwise, there are only a couple ultra-faint smudges or scuffs of the inner-sleeve variety. All completely cosmetic, no scratches or marks of any substance. The labels are brown/black and are beautifully clean. Solid VG+ on the vinyl!
JACKET: VG
Lower bottom left spine is starting to split the last inch to the corner, as is the center 2-inches. The other edge and the spine are solid with a small area of flaking on the spine. The corners have some slight bumping. There is a slight bend across the front top left (see close-up pic) but it's minor. Otherwise, the front and back covers are quite clean and unmarked, very bright and nice-looking, with only minimal, routine wear.

A great copy! Very nice condition on the vinyl, plays beautifully! No reserve, bidding starts at $25.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
