I will be listing quite a large number of rare Pink Floyd albums amongst others over the coming days and weeks. Why not add me as a favourite seller and get informed automatically when new items are listed.
I DO NOT put reserves on my sale items. I am happy to let the market place decide on their value. My packaging is extremely robust, so be assured it will reach the winner in the same condition as when I posted it.
For sale here is a quite superb lot. Picture discs of the first two Floyd releases. Piper at the gates of dawn & Saucerful of secrets. Also in the auction is a totally genuine example of one of the rarest Floyd official programmes out there. This is from the 1971 garden party at Crystal Palace Bowl on Saturday May 15th 1971. I have only ever seen 3 come up for sale before.
The picture discs are mint and unplayed. Part of stock I purchased from an independent record store which closed down in Newcastle last year.
Both discs are perfect, but a word or two about picture discs. The construction is built up from a vinyl "puck" which then has a picture placed on top, then layers of a synthetic plastic material are adhered to this. The plastic medium does not have the same qualities as vinyl, and more often than not play with a little surface noise. Please do not expect absolute top notch audio, but in many cases the sound quality is excellent. Both grade as pretty near mint.
The rare programme is in a very good condition for being around 54 years old. A really clean example. Very solid and fully stapled together. The photos are very clear and give a great impression of its condition. Has some very minor issues where the pages stuck together and a light fold impression down the centre from sitting inside a pocket at the event. I cannot stress just how rare this item is, especially in this condition.
Happy to post overseas, but not to Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. Any bids from those countries will be cancelled. Postage within the UK is by Royal Mail 48 tracked, so should be delivered in 2 days. If my quoted price is more than the actual cost once I have that figure, I will refund the difference immediately. I do not and will not profit on postage and packing costs.
I have had to put a cost in for overseas postage, so I have added the price for Euro zone delivery.
