PINK FLOYD - RELICS - 1971 COMPILATION ALBUM IN VERY GOOD+ CONDITION

THIS IS A VERY GOOD+ COPY OF THE 1971 COMPILATION ALBUM "RELICS" BY PINK FLOYD, A COLLECTION OF HIT SINGLES AND STAND-OUT EARLY ALBUM TRACKS WHEN THE BAND WAS FRONTED BY SYD BARRETT.
IT INCLUDES SONGS SUCH AS "ARNOLD LAYNE" AND 'SEE EMILY PLAY", HITS WHICH PUT PINK FLOYD FIRMLY IN THE POP CHARTS. BUT THERE ARE ALSO ALBUM TRACKS SUCH AS "INTERSTEALLAR OVERDRIVE" AND "CAREFUL WITH THAT AXE EUGENE" WHICH BROUGHT FLOYD TO A WHOLE NEW AUDIENCE SEEKING PSYCHEDELIA, AND SOMETHING BEYOND THE THREE-MINUTE POP SONG.
THIS WAS ORIGINALLY RELEASED ON THE STARLINE LABEL - THIS ISSUE IS ON THE EMI BUDGET LABEL, MUSIC FOR PLEASURE. DESPITE THE LABEL'S LOW PRICE TAG, THEREWAS NO SKIMPING ON QUALITY IN RECORDING, VINYL OR PACKAGING, - THIS IS A HEAVYWEIGHT SLAB OF VINYL HOUSED IN A FRONT-LAMINATED SLEEVE.
IT IS CONSERVATIVELY GRADED AS VG+ BECAUSE OF A FEW BLEMISHES VISIBLE UNDER STRONG LIGHT, BUT THERE IS NO DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY WHICH IS CLOSE TO EXCELLENT, PLAYING WITHOUT SKIPS, STICKS OR LOUD POPS, AND VERY LITTLE BACKGROUND NOISE.
THE SLEEVE IS CLEAN AND BRIGHT WITH A NAME WRITTEN NEATLY IN IN K ON THE BACK COVER, AND MINOR CREASING AND WEAR FROM STORAGE.
THE LABELS ARE CLEAN AND BRIGHT. THE INNER SLEEVE IS A CONTEMPORARY MFP BAG ADVERTISING OTHER RELEASES.
TOP COPY OF AN IMPORTANT COMPILATION HIGHLIGHTING THE MAJOR CONTRIBUTION SYD BARRETT MADE TO THIS LEGENDARY BAND.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
