Description
PINK FLOYD " THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON "
1 ST. UK PRESSING , A2 / B2 , SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE
LP from MARCH 1973 , SHVL 804 , ORIGINAL and COMPLETE SET !
The " midnight blue " printed SLEEVE , is in excellent condition . No tears , folds , bumps , writings , only a very light ring wear is visible on the back side of the cover ( see pictures ) Both panels are open on this copy and spine is in excellent condition .
The VINYL is flat , glossy , with its original deep sheen . With a strong light are visible traces of play like many airlines and some scratches .
I have listened very carefully the Vinyl on my Thorens Td160 / Stanton 688 and I can say :
On Side ONE, First Track , at the beginning of the "heart beat " can be heard a series of clicks. Also on Track 3 after the " clocks strikings "can be heard clicks in series . On Side Two no skips on "Monday " track ! On Side Two the sound is great with no clicks or pops . With the exception of these defects the Vinyl sounds very nice with great dynamics . Only in the quieter parts there is some background noise .
The black Poly-lined Inner Sleeve is Very nice with no splits . Has the two correct patent numbers and the " Made in Great Britain " writing.
The Two Posters are excellent with no pin holes, tears , tape marks .
The Two Postcard Stickers are in excellent condition .
This is Not a Mint LP , but a very presentable and complete copy of the unique holy grail of Pink Floyd records , the SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE edition !!!
