On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pink Floyd called "Saucerful Of Secrets" and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK Pressing on the RAREST EVER Columbia labels!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IT IS ONE OF PINK FLOYDS RAREST LPS EVER AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE RAREST PRESSING EVER MADE - AND IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO AMAZINGLY RARE!!!!  

THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN JULY 1968 ON THE BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL.  IT SOLD WELL AND MADE A TOP TEN POSITION IN THE CHARTS - WITH ALL CHART SALES TAKING PLACE ON THE BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABELS.  HOWEVER IN EARLY 1969 EMI DECIDED TO CHANGE ALL THEIR LABELS!!!!  THEY DROPPED THE BLUE/BLACK LABELS AND REPLACED THEM WITH THE COMMON SILVER/BLACK LABELS WHICH WERE USED THROUGHOUT THE 1970s.  AND AT THE SAME TIME - THEY DECIDED TO REMOVE THE 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT THAT HAD BEEN USED ON ALL COLUMBIA PRESSINGS THROUGHOUT THE 1960s!!!!  HOWEVER THERE WAS AN VERY VERY RARE PRESSING INDEED (THIS ONE!) - BETWEEN THE END OF THE BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABELS - AND THE BEGINNING OF THE COMMON SILVER/BLACK LABELS THAT LASTED THROUGHOUT THE 1970S!!!!  AND THIS IS IT!!!!  AND IF YOU LOOK AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH LABEL - YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE TEXT 'SOLD IN THE UK' ON BOTH LABELS!!!!  AND THIS SHOWS THIS TO BE THE 'EARLIEST' 2ND PRESSING EVER MADE - AND THIS AMAZING & IMPOSSIBLY RARE PRESSING ONLY LASTED A MATTER OF WEEKS ONLY!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  AND SHOWING EXACTLY HOW EARLY & RARE THIS INCREDIBLE LP REALLY IS - IT HAS 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, AND INCREDIBLY EARLY 1/1 MOTHER & STAMPER CODES ASWELL - AND WOULD HAVE MISSED THE BLUE/BLACK LABELS BY A MATTER OF DAYS ONLY!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE ALL TIME RAREST VERSION EVER MADE - WITH ONLY A TINY HANDFUL EVER PRESSED (FOR A FEW WEEKS ONLY!)!!!!

IN FACT, THIS ONE SHOULD REALLY BE A 'BLUE/BLACK' 1ST PRESSING - AS IT HAS INCREDIBLY EARLY 1/A 1/T MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS, WHICH IS ACTUALLY EARLIER IN THER STAMPING ORDER THAN AT LEAST 1/3 OF THE BLUE BLACK LABEL PRESSINGS!!!!  SO IT SHOULDN'T REALLY EXIST AT ALL!!!!

BUT NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK STEREO 'RAREST EVER' PRESSING ON THE ULTRA RARE 'SOLD IN THE UK' COLUMBIA LABELS, 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 1A/1T MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS, ORIGINAL 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' ADVERTISING INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENT PENDING' STEREO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL UK Columbia Pressing from 1968 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SCX 6258 on the ULTRA RARE 'Sold In The UK' Columbia Labels (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK STEREO pressing!!!! 

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO wear, a faint rubbed small name impression (NOT ink!) on 1 label ONLY, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty concentric marks, only 1 lateral hairline type mark, only 2 or 3 light scufflines, only 2 or 3 TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO skips, only a few VERY light clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound in places!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY decent record indeed!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' STEREO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, only some VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corner tips (and some traces on the opening edges!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO ringwear, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, barely ANY rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY decent cover indeed!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
