The Pink Floyd – See Emily Play 7” (orig. Australia Columbia MONO DO-5006)

Australian Release date: August 1967 (UK Release date: 16 June 1967).  Recording dates: 21 May 1967 (A-side) / 22 March 1967 (B-side).

 

On offer here is an EXTREMELY RARE original Australian issue of the second 7” single by THE PINK FLOYD.  Unlike the UK where “See Emily Play” reached the Top 10, in Australia it sold poorly at the time and has become a highly prized collector’s item.

visual: beautiful glossy sheen—insignificant hairlines & few light surface scuffs (side 1: VG, two light surface scratches which DO NOT AFFECT PLAY / side 2: VG+ to VG++).

audible: EX+ sounds superb overall despite insignificant underlying surface noise.  A HIGHLY ENJOYABLE LISTENING EXPERIENCE!

G:       More obvious ring-wear, seam-splits, stains etc—defects will be noted.
