Description
On sale here is a first pressing of PINK FLOYDS live stage album entitled "The best of tour 72".
This is the rarest pressing. It has the untitled front cover, the blue and silver labels and has the "we did it for you" credits on the labels.
Check out the superb website "floydboots" and you will see that this is rated as a 5***** rare album, the websites highest grading for rarity.This website states that the sound quality of this original first pressing was so good it was originally thought (wrongly) that it was a BBC recording! It really is that good.
This is a more detailed description of its parts:-
The laminated cover shows little or no shelf wear. there is light bumping to a couple of corners. No writing or doodles present. This is a lovely example and easily grades at VG+ if not better. The inner sleeve is a generic white die-cut style with poly lining. This is in near mint condition. The labels show maybe half a dozen spindle marks per side. The hugely heavyweight vinyl has quite a lot of hairline marks from sleeve removal. These are more easily seen under strong sunlight. However these have very little negative impact on the sound quality. It is not a silent reproduction, but any light intermittent background noise is not at all intrusive. I would certainly grade the vinyl as VG+ or better.

A very rare album (fairly much a live version of "Dark side of the moon") that rarely reaches the market place and a great addition to any serious Floyd collection.
I have estimated the cost for overseas postage to include "signed for" and insurance. Postage within mainland UK is free (insurance extra if requested). If the actual cost is less I will (as I always have done) refund every penny over the true cost. I do not profit on postage.
