Uno dei più iconici ed influenti album di tutti i tempi, Dark Side of The Moon dei Pink Floyd celebra 50 anni.

Una prima versione di The Dark Side of The Moon è stata suonata in anteprima al The Rainbow Theatre di Londra, molti mesi prima che la band entrasse in studio. È stato registrato in due sessioni nel 1972 e nel 1973 agli EMI Studios (ora Abbey Road studios) a Londra. È l'ottavo album in studio dei Pink Floyd e fu pubblicato in origine nel marzo 1973. L''iconico packaging dell'album che rappresenta lo spettro di un prisma, è stato disegnato da Storm Thorgerson di Hipgnosis.

Il nuovo cofanetto deluxe include CD e vinile gatefold dell'album in studio rimasterizzato da James Guthrie, Blu-Ray + DVD con audio originale 5.1 e versioni stereo rimasterizzate. Il cofanetto include inoltre un aggiuntivo Blu-ray di mix Atmos, più CD e LP di
