Description
This is a really excellent example of PINK FLOYD'S most famous album - THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON. It comes complete with original card gatefold sleeve, original black inner sleeve and disc, which is in superb condition. Unfortunately, this disc does not come with the associated stickers (these I proudly used on my first car , a 1964 blue mini ; neither do I have the posters - left on the wall of a student residence circa 1975.

This disc is part of my personal record collection and has been in my possession since purchase . It has been rarely played as it was my practice to record all new discs to my stereo tape deck , play the recordings on a day to day basis and archive the discs. I apply the Record Collector Magazine grading classification rigorously to all the discs I offer for sale. The ratings are:
Gatefold Sleeve: in EXCELLENT+ condition , the only issue being some slight fading to the upper right side of the inside of the sleeve. (see photo)
Inner Sleeve: in MINT condition: a very unusual all black inner. It is my practice to ship all discs in new inner sleeves, enclosing also the original.
Disc: Potential bidders should note that I always listen to the whole of both sides of any disc I offer for sale and my ratings are honest assessments. The disc is in better than EXCELLENT condition and the sound quality is truly splendid. The sound is perfect, deep and lustrous as it should be with absolutely no distortion or surface noise, even in the quieter sections. If you want a 40 year old copy of this album, which plays like it did when I was at university, then you should seriously consider bidding on it. My rating of the disc is better than excellent , so MINT- (the minus is only because I find it really hard to give such an old disc a mint rating). The disc has the black and light blue triangle label (see photo). All in all this is a great example of a rare and collectible disc by one of the most popular progressive rock bands and would be a superb addition to anyone's collection.
