THE DIVISION BELL (bootleg reissue)
This reissue is pressed on black vinyl not the more common blue vinyl and is in superb condition. It is also the rare single cover issue and not the gatefold that you generally see. Being a bootleg you cannot expect top level sound quality and should be owned for its collectibility and rarity.
Visual grading
Under a bright light there are no hairlines at all and also no spindle wear so I suspect it has never been played before. There are just a couple of fine marks on the vinyl that I believe were caused during manufacture and have no bearing on the audio quality.
Play grading
'Cluster One' plays superbly well for such a quiet track with almost zero static. For a boot the audio is of a very high quality, I was pleasantly surprised! There are no clicks or pops and the remainder of the side plays to the same standard. Whilst the sound level is relatively low the audio has no issues and is overall an excellent listen.
Side Two plays in the same way with just a hint of static here and there again. Many sellers would not even mention it as it is very much in the background and not intrusive in any way.
Cover
This cover is quite simply like new. It is stunning condition with no wear at all. As stated this is the single cover version and still has that glossy new look. There is no lyric sheet with this LP.
Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system
I would grade the vinyl as Near Mint-
