The Division Bell : Blue Vinyl LP (USA)
I purchased this from new and I have only played it the once in order to grade it. Pressed on marbled deep blue vinyl it is a reissue of the original USA version and is in superb condition.
C 64200 // 1A / 1B
The audio on both sides is Near Mint (Mint in many sections)
The gatefold cover is Mint-
The lyric inner is Mint
The labels are Mint
Visual grading
The marbled blue vinyl is visually stunning and has a lovely glossy sheen to it. Under a bright light I cannot see any hairlines and it is easily one of the best reissues I have ever seen, if not the best.
Play grading
'Cluster One' so often plays with fair amount of interference on these bootlegs but that isn't the case here. There is some background static but it is in no way intrusive and there are certainly no clicks or pops. The remainder of the side plays with excellent quality and a clarity that is hard to beat. There is no obvious interference at all and for a coloured vinyl the audio is highly impressive.
S2 has a little static on the intro but after that 'Take It Back' plays with stunning depth and clarity. The quiet intro on 'Coming Back To Life' also plays with superb sound and no 'background' at all. The play back on the rest of the side is of a fantatstic standard also with the classic 'High Hopes' being a real highlight. No clicks, pops or jumps anywhere.
Gatefold cover
The glossy gatefold is in sublime condition and is as new apart from one tiny 'mark' on the opening edge. The front, back and inside of the gatefold are immaculate.
Lyric inner
This is in perfect condition with no marks or creasing.
The labels
They are both in superb condition with no spindle wear.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable / B&W 684 Speakers
