The Final Cut A-5U / B-2U
On offer here is an early pressing of this often underrated LP. As described below the audio is of Mint quality and the same can be said for the gatefold. The gatefold also has the original sticker and the vinyl remains in its original black inner.

Visual grading
Under a bright light I cannot detect any hairlines and it is obvious this vinyl has hardly been played. There are only a 2/3 spindle lines on Side One and only one tiny one on Side Two. Unsurprisingly it retains that lovely glossy sheen of new vinyl.
Play grading
I have played the entire LP and the audio is of Mint quality. The opening track, 'The Post War Dream', has no static or crackle to speak of and plays with such amazing clarity and depth it's hard to believe this LP is 33 years old. The quality continues throughout the side and when you consider how many quiet sections there are it is unbelievably rare to find this LP in such superlative condition. All tracks play as Mint and the moving 'The Gunners Dream' in particular has astonishing audio. Wow is all I can say!
Side Two has the same breathtaking audio as Side One, I have never heard better. New vinyl often does not play as well as this! I summary this is a final upgrade for certain. It would be impossible to improve upon the audio quality on offer here.
Cover
The gatefold is in stunning condition and can easily be graded as Mint-. The edges and wide spine are in superb order and it is very difficult to find fault! If anything there is infinitesimal wear on the bottom two corners but hardly worth mentioning really. It looks like new and therefore I honestly believe it would be impossible to find a better one.Original inner
The original black die cut inner is in superb condition with no splits or tears.
