Description

A hugely rare first press of this classic pink Floyd debut album on Columbia with the rare blue inner label

The album is in general very good condition for its age, I’ll try to be as accurate as possible with descriptions

The sleeve had clear tape to the edges which have left some slight discolouration on the edges but ironically have kept the spine very clean and clear.

There are a couple of small bits of writing on the rear

The vinyl is in generally good condition with some light marks from play consistent with an album that has been played in its past but not heavily or clumsily.

During playback testing (using a technics slq303) the pressing sounded excellent with very light audio background noise between songs. Audio clarity is superb with no nasty noises appearing during the songs.

There’s one flaw I’ve found d during playback which is on the last track approx one minute in where it sticks on the lyric ‘ I saw a mouse’, some very light background noise is detectable between songs.

A superb rarity in overall good condition for its age and priced fairly considering its flaw on the last song.
